This is a trash bin I seen today at Bloor & Keele

Toronto garbage collectors,  and other municipal employees went on strike just after midnight on Monday June 22nd.

Apparently they have been trying to bargain for 6 months, and without any response or reasoning they are putting thier foot down and going on strike to further get their opinions heard.

So far its only been two days and already there is garbage starting to pour out of the trash bins. I can’t imagine what this city will look like if this lasts longer than a week.

Without workers to properly get the garbage off the streets things will be unsanitary as well as unbearable.

For the sake of our noses and Toronto , I hope this doesn’t last long…

I have to figure out how to change all the colors and other fun things.
